Old-World Monkeys This family pretty closely resemble the modern old-world monkey family. They have small, closely-lying nostrils and are highly intelligent.

Averecercos
This is a tiny grass monkey with an
excessively long tail. They live in small
groups and make their nests in the
grass, particularly those under trees.
Usually when danger threatens, they
retreat to the trees.
Olipithecus
This is a rather small-sized monkey
that lives exclusively in forests. The
brightly-colored tail acts as a beacon
to keep their groups from separating
too much.
Risa
Known as the "laughing monkey",
surely the calls to reunite the family
resembles that of laughing. These are
ground-dwelling monkeys of the
savanna, much like today's baboons.
They too live in family groups led by a
dominant male.
Sapienter
One of the more intelligent of the
monkeys, it walks either on all fours or
on their hind legs with no problems.
They are pretty fast runners. The hind
feet are nude, the hands though are
well-haired. The tail is usually held
high. These monkeys eat anything, but
themselves may be preyed upon by
other monkeys or deinognathids.
Telapodarius
This is a medium-sized monkey that
lives near the rivers and lakes. It is
among the best swimmers among
monkeys. The tail is flat, like those of
beavers, and is what they use to
propel themselves through the water.
